I have been there.

“One truth has stood out: most people don’t lack stories they lack safe spaces to share and process them. Too often, our truths especially the hard ones are voiced in rooms not ready to hold them. And that leaves people feeling dismissed, judged, or alone.”

Shibani S. Rao

Welcome to Inna House.

We live in a world that celebrates success, speed, and constant evolution. But in the race to keep up, many of us are left processing life’s most personal challenges in isolation. Workplaces prioritize output over well-being, industries often forget empathy, and we find ourselves constantly connected yet increasingly disconnected from what truly matters.

But what if we could choose a different way?

As children, we moved through the world with curiosity, creativity, and courage. We played, we imagined, we explored without hesitation. Somewhere along the way, adulthood asked us to have answers instead of questions. To stay composed rather than vulnerable. To do more, feel less.

Through years of work across mental health, performance, and organizational spaces, one truth has stood out: most people don’t lack stories they lack safe spaces to share and process them. Too often, our truths especially the hard ones are voiced in rooms not ready to hold them. And that leaves people feeling dismissed, judged, or alone.

Inna House was born as a response to that. A space built with care, creative tools, and thoughtful processes designed to invite clarity, expression, and healing. Here, art and awareness come together. You’re encouraged to pause, to listen inward, to access the creativity of your younger self and the discernment of the adult you are today.

This work is deeply personal. It draws from every space I’ve stood in from navigating disability in the halls of NIMHANS as a child, to holding space in classrooms, boardrooms, hospitals, and theatres. One room at a time, this vision has grown and at the heart of it is a belief I return to often:

Clarity begins at home.
And that home is you.

So come as you are. There’s room here to release, to reflect, and to realign.
Let’s make space for self, for story, for something new.

Our Collective

The Inna House collective is a dynamic collaboration of creative professionals, psychotherapists, corporate facilitators, theatre practitioners, yoga instructors, and caregivers each deeply attuned to the nuances of the human experience. With diverse expertise and lived wisdom, every member contributes meaningfully to our shared vision.

We start by understanding your unique needs, carefully selecting the right expert for your personal or organizational goals. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates seamlessly to design engaging, intentional, and innovative programs and workshops. Together, we create transformative experiences, refine best practices, and cultivate safe spaces both in-person and virtually where individuals and communities can learn, unlearn, and grow.

Shibani S. Rao

Inner worker| Creative Psychotherapist | Artist | Corporate Facilitator

Founder of Inna House, where creativity becomes a pathway to empathy, emotional growth, and well-being for people of all ages.

With over two decades of experience across journalism, marketing, brand strategy, theatre, and mental health, my journey has always been guided by one core principle: the power of story within us and between us.

As a trained actor and theatre-maker, I’ve performed in and assisted with over 13 productions, discovering how theatre can become a mirror for emotional truth and transformation. My academic grounding a degree in Psychology from Christ University and an MA in Drama & Movement Therapy from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, London shaped my belief that healing doesn’t always begin with words. It begins with presence, space, and creativity.

From NHS hospitals in the UK to collaborations with NIMHANS and Cadambas in India, I’ve held space for diverse groups children with autism, adults navigating trauma, and leadership teams seeking deeper human connection. My work spans schools, theatres, hospitals, and corporate boardrooms, bringing arts-based emotional intelligence into cultures at IBM, HP, Mercedes, and more.

At Inna House, we offer reflective retreats, creative interventions, and inner work programs designed to meet people where they are and guide them inward. My approach, also rooted in my training as an Ashtanga Yoga practitioner, is body-centered, intuitive, and blends science with soul. Because I believe clarity begins at home and that home is within. And when we make space for our truth, we make space for all lived experience.
